Every time (100%) what is your current game version number?. Nothing is fixing the issue. The driver for your graphics chip is crashing, and if that's happening while you play sims 4 it would explain the issue.

@alexvonauen i've moved your posts to the master thread for disappearing saves and other user content. Now, about 2 sim hours into the game, i immediately saved the game, and now i can't click on several items in the home, or one of the neighbor sims, or some community lots. My game will be playable for about 10 mins (only if i restart my entire computer) and then stop working again.
